My name is Carlos Martinez, and I am a professional tattoo artist based in Syracuse, New York. With over a decade of experience in the tattoo industry, I have dedicated my life to turning artistic visions into lasting works of art on the skin. Originally hailing from the vibrant culture of Cuba, my journey has been one of passion, perseverance, and creativity. In my early beginnings I was surrounded by the colorful art, music, and traditions that define the island’s rich culture. From an early age, I developed a love for drawing, often sketching images inspired by Cuban folklore, nature, and the vibrant cityscapes around me. My fascination with body art began when I saw traditional tattoos symbolizing identity and heritage within my community. A few years ago I made the life-changing decision to move to Syracuse, New York. While leaving my homeland was challenging, it opened doors to new opportunities and exposure to the global tattoo industry. I immersed myself in American tattoo culture, learning from experienced artists and mastering new techniques and styles.
